September 28, 2017 - Tioga County Association of Township Officials 112th Annual Convention (Tioga Co. Fairgrounds, Whitneyville, PA)

Eighty attendees attended the convention heard presentations from speakers including State Rep. Matt Baker and Rod Wilt, Keystone Energy Forum director.

Tioga County Township Officials filled up one side of the Exhibition Hall to listen to the presentations made by PSATS, a Q&A session with State Rep. Baker, Chuck Dillon from Sen. Scarnati’s District Office, County Commissioner Bunn, and local representatives from PennDot, PA DEP, the PA DCED Center for Local Government Services and other Tioga County agencies.

 


September 28, 2017 - Bradford County Association of Township Officials 105th Annual Convention (Wysox Fire Hall, Wysox, PA)

Approximately 130 officials from Bradford County’s 40 townships attended the convention that included discussion with State Senator Gene Yaw, State Rep. Tina Pickett, Frank Mazza from U.S. Senator Pat Toomey’s office.

September 27, 2017 – Venango County Association of Township Officials Annual Convention (Oakland Twp. Fire Hall, Dempseytown, PA)

Approximately 60 officials from Venango County’s 23 townships attended the convention. Keystone Energy Forum was given an opportunity to address the attendees and give a brief “commercial” of who we are and what we do.

September 13, 2017 - Cambria County Association of Township Officials Annual Convention (Emporium, PA)

Keystone Energy Forum attended the convention and distributed materials to approximately 30 officials from Somerset County’s 5 townships and 2 boroughs in attendance.

August 5-9, 2017 - County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania (CCAP) Annual Convention, Bayfront Convention Center (Erie, PA)

Eighty-five suppliers, vendors and exhibitors participated in the CCAP Expo where 54 of Pennsylvania’s 67 counties were represented. Keystone Energy Forum attended and conducted one-on-one conversations with approximately 30 PA County Commissioners to discuss the development of pipeline infrastructure across the state and how reliant the future of PA industry is on the development of the pipelines.

Twenty-one people attended the NFIB-PA Regional Roundtable hosted by Paris Uniform Services. The program focused on NFIB legislative initiatives for the current session and budget season. KEF was asked to make a presentation on the positive impact the energy industry is having in Pennsylvania.

The Welcome & NFIB Overview was provided by Mr. Kevin Shivers, Executive State Director for NFIB. State Senator Scott Wagner from York County provided an update of business-related legislative actions in the Senate. Rod Wilt of Keystone Energy Forum made a presentation on the State of PA’s Energy climate.

Over 50 people attended a Keystone Energy Forum hosted by the Northeast Manufacturers & Employers Assoc., CANDO, Luzerne County Community College, and the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce. The program focused on the positive impact the energy industry is having on Northeast Pennsylvania, education and training of the workforce, and infrastructure development.

Starting the meeting was Ms. Darlene Robbins, President, Northeast Manufacturers & Employers Assoc. Rod Wilt, KEF Field Director, served as Moderator for the panel discussion.

Panelists included Matt Carmichael, Director of Government Relations, Southwestern Energy; Mike Atchie, Public Outreach, The Williams Companies; Larry Godlasky, Director-Government Affairs, UGI Energy Services, LLC; Joseph Swope, UGI Utility; John Hambrose, Waste Management; Susan Spry, Vice President of Applied Technologies and Workforce Development, Luzerne County Community College

Panelist’s presentations covered technology advancements in well production and frac-water recycling, updates on the Atlantic Sunrise pipeline project, updates on the Penn-East pipeline project and the positive environmental impact of the natural gas industry, expansion of the commercial and residential supply lines and regional CHP projects, the use of CNG to power 6,000 Waste Management trucks nationally and the cost-savings associated with that use, and how community colleges are bridging the skills gap in the oil & gas workforce by using real-time applied technologies in degree, apprenticeship, and mentorship programs.

Over 100 industry leaders and elected officials attended this Keystone Energy Forum that discussed how to develop the Philadelphia region as an "energy hub;" labor/management partnerships; education and training of the workforce; and infrastructure development to enhance the Southeast PA economic outlook.

The Welcome was provided by Anthony Gallagher (Steamfitter’s Local 420 Business Manager), Tim Brink (Executive Director, Mechanical & Service Contractors of Eastern PA), and Stephanie Wissman (Executive Director, API-PA).

January 12, 2017 - Natural Gas Utilization & Infrastructure Development Forum hosted by The PA State Grange.

Rod Wilt from the Keystone Energy Forum moderated the panel discussion with more than 50 members of the PA State Grange from across Pennsylvania attending the forum. Stephanie Catarino-Wissman, Executive Director of API-PA, gave a presentation of the overall impact of the natural gas industry on the economy of Pennsylvania, and the need for more takeaway capacity. Mike Atchie, Manager of Public Outreach for the Williams Companies, talked about the company’s pipeline projects and the process they have used to successfully work with stakeholders to gain approvals for their right-of-way. Tom Sniscak, Partner with Hawke, McKeon & Sniscak, a Harrisburg, PA law firm who specializes in eminent domain issues involving public utilities and landowners, gave a very informative talk on landowner rights and the avenues available to them when dealing with eminent domain issues.


November 17, 2016 - Natural Gas Utilization & Infrastructure Development Forum hosted by: The Butler County Chamber of Commerce.

Rod Wilt, KEF Field Director, was a facilitator of the event and moderated the panel discussion. Organizers included Dan Hayward, Partner, Novak Strategic Advisors and Josh Snyder, API-PA. Joyce Turkaly, Director of Natural Gas Market Development for PIOGA also helped recruit members of the panel. The light breakfast and Forum was held at the Regional Learning Alliance in Cranberry Twp., PA. Over 40 local business leaders, elected officials and oil & gas industry representatives attended the forum. Key Leaders in attendance were: Stan Kosciuszko, President of the Butler County Chamber of Commerce, Kim Geyer, Butler County Commissioner, State Representative Brian Ellis (R-11), and State Senator Scott Hutchinson (R-21). The presenters for the very successful forum were: Renee Jones, Manager of State Government Affairs for Chevron, Jeremy Zeman, Manager of Commercial Development for Williams, Jeffery Nehr, Vice President of Commercial Operations for Peoples, Kyle Knapp, General Manager of Du-Co Ceramics, and Bob Wilds, Director of Pipelines for the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE).

November 10, 2016 - Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce Morning Connection from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. at the Williamsport Country Club.

The Keystone Energy Forum was a Program Sponsor for this event along with several other companies mentioned on the attached flyer. Rod Wilt, KEF Field Director, attended the dinner the night before as well as the breakfast. Dan Hayward and Angela Leopold from Novak Strategies also attended representing Energy Citizens. Over 115 local business leaders, elected officials and oil & gas industry representatives attended the forum. October 6, 2016 - 101st Convention of the Washington County Association of Township Officials.

The convention was held from 3:00 PM to 6:00PM at the DoubleTree Hotel in Washington, PA. There were over 170 elected township officials in attendance, as well as Washington County Commissioner Harlan Shober who is a member of the County Commissioners Oil & Gas Task Force in PA.

September 30, 2016 - 104th Convention of the Armstrong County Association of Township Officers.

The convention was held from 8:00AM to 12:00PM at the Kittanning Twp. Fire Hall. There were over 90 elected township officials in attendance, as well the three Armstrong County Commissioners (Jason Renshaw, Pat Fabian and George Skamai). State Representative Jeff Pyle and State Senator Don White also attended and each spoke the group during the work session.

September 29, 2016 - 112th Convention of the Bradford County Association of Township Officials.

The convention was held from 8:00AM to 12:00PM at the Wysox Fire & Banquet Hall in Wysox, PA. There were over 70 elected township officials in attendance, as well the three Bradford County Commissioners (Doug McLinko, Daryl Miller and Ed Bustin). State Representative Tina Pickett and Frank Mazza from U.S. Senator Pat Toomey's Northeast Regional Office also attended. Dave Sanko, the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania State Assoc. of Township Supervisors, was also in attendance and was the Keynote Speaker of the session.

The convention was held from 2:00PM to 5:00PM at the Tioga County Fairgrounds in Whitneyville, PA. There were over 80 elected township officials in attendance, as well the three Tioga County Commissioners (Roger Bunn, Mark Hamilton & Erick Coolidge who serves on the CCAP Oil & Gas Task Force).

June 9, 2016 - 2016 Energy Forum hosted by: The Manufacturers Association, The Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce, and Mantech.

Angela Leopold from Novak Strategies facilitated the event and Rod Wilt, KEF Field Director, moderated the panel discussion. The breakfast and forum was held at the Homewood Suites in York, PA. The Industry Panelists included: Ben Lawrence, VP of Sales for KCF Technologies; Max Rishel, Regional Director of Sales at UGI Energy Services; and James Loder, Director of Energy Management for PM Glatfelter. Key Leaders in attendance were: Tom Palisen, Manufacturer's Assoc. of Central PA, Phil Donmoyer, August Mack Environmental, Greg Gromicko, Zypher Environmental Corporation, and Ron Miller, Former State Rep. & Chair of the House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee.

There were over 75 elected township officials in attendance, as well as 2 of the 3 Westmoreland County Commissioners (Gina Cerilli (D) & Ted Kopas (D)), 3 State Representatives (Joe Petrarca (D-55), Ted Harhai (D-58) and Mike Reese (D-59)), State Senator Kim Ward (R-39), as well as Congressman Keith Rothfus and Congressman Tim Murphy.
